Bhil Nihal of India

Introduction / History
The Nahal are a scheduled tribe who live in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. The word Nahal means lion or tiger. They speak Nimari which is an Indo-Aryan language. They eat chicken and goat meat.

The Nahal are Hindus by religion and are monogamous. They have a caste council to look after them. They work as agricultural laborers for others. Some of them own a little land.

The Nahal have only a few children going to school, so the gospel will need to be given in oral form too. They use family planning.

Prayer Points
* Pray that the council leaders of the Nahal come to Jesus Christ and lead others to Him.
* Pray that gospel recordings will lead them to salvation.
