Introduction / History
The Iraqi live in Uttar Pradesh. They are Sunni Muslims and speak Urdu and Hindi. They are not vegetarians who eat rice and wheat.

The Iraqi are endogamous. They have birth and marriage rituals. The divorced and bereaved can marry again. The dead are buried. On the death of the father, sons inherit the property with the oldest son becoming in charge of the home.

They work with animal hides and in government, business and in private service. They have a community council. Use is made of government benefits such as in health and education.
