Introduction / History They are located in the Huanáco region of Peru.
There are two different type of people, those that live in the city of Ambo and those that life in the surrounding villages in the mountains around the city. Those that live in the villages are mostly Quechua speaking and agricultural workers.
What are their beliefs? As most Peruvians there is a strong Catholic presence, however; evangelicals are growing. Almost in every village there is an evangelical church and we are currently in the process of finding out the percentage of believers.
What are their needs? Many of their needs are as simple as providing for their families, but more than that for the local pastors and their work in spreading the Gospel and planting churches.
