Introduction / History Soi is a language of central Iran. An important resource for reaching an unreached people group is to give them the gospel message in their local language, and not just the national language.
Where are they located? Soi speakers live in central Iran.
What are their lives like? We know very little about their lives. This is a people group defined by their language, so information about them is about linguistics.
What are their beliefs? Soi speakers are almost entirely Shi 'ite Muslim. They have been taught that the teachings of the Qur 'an lead to eternal life and that the Bible has been corrupted by mistranslations. They do not have a Savior to depend upon.
What are their needs? Those who speak Soi are unengaged as well as unreached. That means that no one is attempting to take them the gospel. They do not have any of the Scriptures or other Christian resources to lead them to the loving Savior.
Prayer Points Ask the Lord to provide a miraculous way to get His Word to the Soi people in spite of man-made laws.
