Their gotras are Veera, Nandi, Bhrungi, Vrashabha and Skand. They are in the states of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Maharastra and Tamil Nadu. In Karnataka they live in the districts of Shimoga, Chitradurga, Davanagere and Chikkamangalore. What are their lives like? Their occupations are religious gurus, agriculture, petty business and government and private service. What are their beliefs? They believe in the gods Shiva, Shakthi and Panchacharyas. They wear Istalingas (representation of Shiva, used as a symbol for worship in temples) on their bodies. What are their needs?
