Introduction / HistoryThe Kalladi are a scheduled caste who live in Kerala. They speak Malayalam. They are not vegetarians and love pork. Rice is eaten by them as a cereal.
The Kalladi have many clans. Cousin marriages are allowed. Women help in agriculture and other things too.
The Kalladi weave mats which is their traditional work. They also do animal husbandry and labouring. Boys and girls are educated. Hinduism is their religion.
The Kalladi also live in small numbers in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
