Introduction / History
The Kamhar of Pakistan are also called Kumhar. Large numbers of Kumhar came to live in Pakistan from India. There are two groups of them, Muhajer and the locals.

Most Kumhar in Pakistan follow Islam. Those that are Muhajer came to Pakistan after India and Pakistan became separate countries. They speak Hindi, though some speak Punjabi as many have come from the Punjab in India.

Muhajer Kumhars are called Rehmani and the locals also call themselves by that name. The locals are the majority in Balochistan.

The Kumhars are landowners. They do pottery work as they have done before but some are now farmers.

Pray that God will give the Kumhar dreams and visions leading them to salvation.
Pray that gospel materials and the internet will lead them to Jesus Christ too.
