Introduction / HistoryThe Sondhia live in Rajasthan in India in the Sondhwad region. They speak in Sondhwadi and read and write in Devanagari. Farming is their main source of work.
The Sondhia are not vegetarians but they do not eat beef or pork. Jowar is their main cereal and milk is their favorite drink. Many men smoke tobacco and bidi.
The Sondhia have exogamous clans who arrange marriages. The clan of the brother of the mother is excluded in marriages.
