Introduction / HistoryThe Nahal are a scheduled tribe who live in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. Hinduism is their religion.
In Madhya Pradesh, the Nahal speak Nimari which is an Indo Aryan language. They eat goat meat and chicken. They are monogamous. In their language the word Nahal means lion or tiger.
They work mainly in agricultural labor. A caste council looks after them. They may have a low literacy level, so the gospel will need to be given in oral form too. They use family planning.
Prayer Points* Pray that the caste council leaders come to Jesus Christ and lead others to Him.
* Pray that gospel recordings will lead them to salvation.
