Text source: Joshua Project Introduction / History The Asho or Asho Kuki Chin have several subgroups, each with a different culture and language. The Asho Kuki Chin speak the Asho Kuki Chin language. Though most Chin subgroups are in neighboring Myanmar, the Asho Kuki subgroup is in southeastern Bangladesh. What are their lives like? This is a farming community. What are their beliefs? Though they are mainly Buddhists, the Asho Kuki Chin have some Christians among them. What are their needs? Like people everywhere, the Asho Kuki Chin people need to allow the loving savior to direct their lives. They need his forgiveness for sin. Prayer Points Pray the Asho Kuki Chin would see they can enjoy abundant life if they put their trust in Jesus Christ.
