Introduction / History
The Mehar are a Scheduled Caste living in the Hadoti region of Rajasthan. They speak in Haranti which is an Indo Aryan language. They are not vegetarians who eat wheat as a cereal.

The Mehar have several clans. Some of them own land. They work in farming and the women help as farm laborers.

The Mehar are Hindus and have festivals. They have their own water wells. Development programs are used by them. They have a low education level so the gospel will need to be given in oral form too.

Pray that Indian Christians will lead them to Jesus Christ.
Pray that gospel recordings will lead them to salvation.
