Introduction / History
The Jhojha are Muslims who live in India. They live in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and other states. They are descended from the Turks in India and were in the Turkish military.

The regions they lived in did not have their general needs. They became soldiers and were called Jhuj (denoting "battle") and later were called Jhojha. Indian soldiers were Rajputs and many converted from Hinduism and became Muslims and lived with the Jhojha.

The Jhojha are a peasant community living in Doab in Uttar Pradesh. Caste councils and associations look after them. They are Sunni Muslims. They speak Khari Boli and Urdu too.

Prayer Points
Pray that the leaders of the councils and associations will come to Jesus Christ and lead others of the Jhojha to Him.
Pray that God will give them dreams and visions leading them to salvation.
