Introduction / History
The Rawal in Maharashtra speak, read and write in Gujarati. They are vegetarians who eat wheat as a cereal. Widowers can marry again. On the death of the father, sons inherit the property with the oldest son becoming in charge of the home. They have birth, marriage rituals and the dead are cremated. They work in industry, business and in trading.

In Gujarat they speak, read and write in Gujarati. The dead are buried. They have a low literacy level so the gospel will need to be given in oral form too. They use modern medicines and family planning.

In Madhya Pradesh the Rawal speak Bhili and read and write in Devanagari. A bride price is paid in marriage. Divorce is allowed. Many work as laborers.

In Rajasthan the Rawal speak Bagri and read and write in Devanagari. Maize is eaten by them. They are mainly landowners and work in cultivation.

Prayer Points
