Introduction / History
The Pardeshi Rajput live in Maharashtra, India and were originally from Rajasthan. The word Pardeshi means outsiders. They speak Marathi and read and write in Devanagari. They eat eggs, fish, most meats, wheat and rice.

The Pardeshi Rajput are mainly monogamous and practice cousin marriages. Marrying again is allowed. On the death of the father, property goes to the sons and unmarried daughters. The oldest son becomes in charge of the home. There are birth and marriage rituals. The dead are cremated except for children.

Many of the Pardeshi Rajput work in defense and do police work now. Agriculture has been their main work. They are Hindus by religion. They make use of government benefits in education and in other things too.

Prayer Points
* Pray that God will give the Pardeshi Rajput dreams and visions leading them to Jesus Christ.
* Pray that gospel literature will help lead them to salvation.
