Introduction / History
The Vasave are from the Bhil people group and a scheduled tribe of Maharashtra. They speak Bhil and Marathi and are endogamous. They eat maize, wheat and other cereals too.

Their work is in agriculture, laboring, managing and looking after animals. There are doctors and engineers among them. Hinduism is their religion though some of them have become Christians.

In Gujarat, the Vasave are the largest of the Bhil community. They have a traditional council to look after them. Many work as construction laborers. They are favorable to education.

Prayer Points

Pray that the council leaders will come to Jesus Christ and lead others to Him too.
